JB Ferreira Trust

JB Ferreira Trust is a Property Management Group serving the commercial market of Tzaneen, Limpopo.

Jan Ferreira, started the company in 1980 and quickly distinguished himself as an able businessman and developer.  Over time the business grew from a single centre which was built solely to house the personally owned, Boulevard Printers, to several substantial shopping centres.

In the year 2000 Jan was joined by Liezl van Heyningen, who gradually took over management of the JB FerreiraTrust’s properties. To date Liezl successfully manages the Trust’s portfolio.

The predominant focus of the business is within the commercial market, with shopping centres located in and around the CBD and taxi ranks of Tzaneen. Whilst there are several national tenants, the primary focus is on local tenants and entrepreneurs whose primary target markets are consumers who fall within the middle to lower income sectors. Rental space varies from between 50m² – 500m² with a GLA of approximately 13,500m². Rent is determined by a combination of factors such as location, square meters, market related prices and demand.

Although competition between tenants often proves healthy, our aim is to position tenants in such a manner that each has the opportunity to secure a segment of the available market.

Constantly looking to expand, we have recently entered the residential market and various apartments, townhouses and residential dwellings in TZANEEN are being leased. A modern office park, consisting of 5 individual office blocks also forms part of our current portfolio.

In the best interests of both the Trust and our tenants, it is of the utmost importance to us that we build trusting relationships with our tenants. It is a testament to the excellence of these relationships that we have so many tenants who continue to enjoy longstanding and successful relationships with the JB FERREIRA TRUST.
